A beautiful place to visit for a day trip or stay around the area overnight. The views are stunning and there are quite a few walks to take depending on time and level of walking and exploring you are willing to do. Easy walking to views or a couple of hour walk to explore the landscape.

A wonderful place to introduce young (& old) ones to snow. The Dingo Dell snow play area has a good space for tobogganing and exploring the snow. The Cafe - we discovered - only serves food on Wed through Sun except during peak season. Most staff were friendly and helpful. Further up the mountain, Cresta Valley had a larger area to explore and play on with toboggans. Our kids had a ball.

One of my favourite natural places on Earth. This stunning granite mountain has something for everyone. As the second national Park in Australia it has long been recognised for its spectacular beauty and has been visited for over 100 years as the nature retreat for prime minister's, governor general's and the everyday man. It has over 100km of hiking trails, dozens of Kilometers of cross country ski trails in winter, great fishing and beautiful lake on top. Best of all, every activity on this mountain is completely free!
